and a fresh one

Finished “The Hanging Shed” by Gordon Ferris. I found this an awful lot better than I had initially expected. The story rips along in a manner not dissimilar to the style of “Robert Goddard” and indeed it had the read-on factor so often found in those books. That said; it also had the failings of his books as well; and this can be a drawback. I didnt get close to the reasons for the events that were happening in the current time so the author scores some major plus points for that one. I was somewhat disbelieving of the sheer volume of chaos left in Brodie’s wake, and founf that the least plausible element of the story. This was most marked during his relentless pursuit of the Slattery clan. Hey Ho. It is fiction after all.
