Travails in time

Finished this book last night. I have to say that I enjoyed it more than I thought I was going to. The first few scene setting chapters had a little too much whimsical fond remembering for my liking. I’m sure it’s all very personal to the author but I’m afraid that it didn’t really add a great deal to the book and story. Which were; on the whole very good. The central device of the suitcase works in a lot of ways and I was very satisfied with the whole ad44 plot. For me? Id read a sequel and this book would be great for primary school kids (about 8yrs?). Worth a look. Have started with “mr stink” by David walliams – it will be interesting to compare these “side by side”
