Itch again! This is the second book in the series by Simon Mayo and it does not disappoint . It has an explosive start. We start back in Cornwall after the events of the first book and with Itch and his family under heavy security. Needless to say it all goes quite wrong. The ‘rocks’ lost in the first book are being sought by several different agencies and interested parties. Much is at stake and once again we find Itch on the run and using his knowledge of the periodic table, chemistry and science to outwit those who would get their hands on the precious rocks.

The characters are well drawn and the plot rips along with a fast pace. It is a worthy sequel and a great book for a 9-11yo reader.

Is there a negative? No, I don’t think so.
