Don’t panic

I read this again in the last few weeks and in the process I came to a few conclusions:

1. Douglas Adams wrote thought provoking books

2. It’s good but not nearly as good as everyone says it is – it goes nowhere and in the end is devoid of anything which has any lasting impact.

3. Humour is there but it is a wry humour and quite gentle.

4. It feels like a book which started as a good idea but did not get much further than that – I’ve read better

I’ve bought a kindle set so I’m going to read the lot and we shall see if he reaches any further but I’m doubting that.
