The view from

Matt Haig delivers a sidelong look at society and how we define ourselves and how relationships develop. A truly brilliant book.

Professor Andrew Martin of Cambridge University finds himself naked and wandering the city but unable to explain why. What transpires is a story of alien intervention in his life and an attempt by that alien race to prevent the humans from gaining access to a technology which would change everything.

The book centres round the Riemann hypothesis – go look it up its really interesting. No really!

The dog provides a great unvoiced character and his teenage son is accurately observed. So much good here.
